Vision Lithium Announces Mag-EM Survey Results Showing Major Target Areas for EM Conductors
VAL-D’OR, QC, May 5, 2021 / CNW / – Vision Lithium Inc. (TSXV: VLI) (OTCQB: ABEPF) (FSE: 1AJ2) (the “Company” or “Vision Lithium”) is pleased to announce the results of the MAG-EM survey on its Red brook property in New Brunswick, Canada. The survey identified two high priority target areas for EM.
The approximately 900 km helicopter-borne magnetic and electromagnetic (MAG-EM) survey was conducted at spacings of 50 meters above the property. The survey, carried out at low altitude, collected data at high resolution. EM anomalies identified by the survey are located along the contour of the Red brook intrusive granite, probable source of mineralization on the property. Two large EM target areas were identified, one with anomalies over a distance of 1 km and the other over 500m.
The conductive zones identified by the survey are probably related to porphyry and skarn-type mineralization that has been identified to date on the property. A previous operator completed a series of wide-spaced IP ground lines that identified several large and buried chargeability anomalies. Sampling of historical outcrops returned zinc values of up to 15% Zn as well as gold and copper values of up to 2.62 g / t Au and 0.5% Cu *. Magnetic data of the airborne program as well as the target areas and the Red brook The intrusive contour of granite can be visualized in Figure 1.
Yves Rougerie, President and CEO, said: “The Vision Lithium team is very excited by the results of the MAG-EM survey on Red brook which, combined with historical data, provide excellent goals. These targets have a strong EM signature and are very large and span over a kilometer. We are currently in the final stages of planning drill targets and will announce details of the drill program later this month, or early June. “
The properties 100% owned by Vision Lithium in New Brunswick include two contiguous exploration properties – Red brook and Benjamin– and cover 4,760 hectares (47.6 km2) over a length of 20 km + located about 60 km west of the mining center of Bathurst in Northern New Brunswick. The property is located in the Popelogan area west of the Bathurst VMS district. “The Popelogan sector is host to Ordovician volcanic rocks and Silurian sediments intruded by a series of felsic to intermediate Devonian intrusives, similar to the geological context of the old Gaspé mine in Quebec. This region is not part of the Bathurst volcanic, it is rather a Gaspé Copper type environment ”(Geominex Inc., January 2017, working report 478129). This is also the context of the Company’s other properties in the area, namely the large Dôme Lemieux Copper-Zinc porphyry-skarn project approximately 50 km north of the Property and the Benjamin porphyry copper project 20 km away. ‘is. Polymetallic copper-zinc-silver-lead-gold mineralization has been exposed at surface at several locations on the Red Brook property. It is interpreted as skarn and porphyry type and related to the Red brook granitoid intrusive complex underlying the claim area.
Although the Company considers these historical results to be relevant because they may indicate the presence of mineralization, a qualified person has not performed sufficient work for Vision Lithium to verify the accuracy of these results and therefore should not be relied on.
The scientific and technical information in this version has been reviewed and approved by Yves Rougerie, Geologist, President and CEO of the company. Mr. Rougerie is a “qualified person” within the meaning of NI 43-101.
