Karine Vanasse is the new face of Nissan Canada in Quebec
There is a new face representing Nissan Canada in Quebec. Nissan recently announced that Quebec actress Karine Vanasse will develop her relationship with the brand – instead of simply being the Rogue ambassador, she will now be the regional spokesperson for the entire company.

Vanasse’s latest role is revolutionary – she will be the brand’s very first spokesperson for the Quebec market. She described her time as a representative of the Rogue as a “new and enriching experience”.
“I am honored to be the brand’s first spokesperson in Quebec,” said the actress. “I look forward to taking on this challenge, while continuing to shine the spotlight on Nissan in Quebec.
In addition to staring in commercials and appearing at public relations events, Vanasse will integrate Nissan into its social media presence. It will publish content that corresponds to the theme “Rediscovering our world”, which will feature scenic routes from across Quebec. And as 2021 progresses, it will thematize its content around other soon-to-be-revealed topics chosen by Nissan and ad agency TamTam TBWA. It will also showcase the many new and updated models that Nissan has been rolling out since May 2020.
Adam Paterson, director of marketing at Nissan Canada, says the automaker is honored to partner with the actress.
“Karine shares brand values such as confidence, modern style and accessible innovation,” Paterson noted in a press release. He further explained that the decision stemmed from Vanasse’s success as the face of Rogue’s marketing campaign. “We also want to continue forging links with Quebecers and Karine is the best person to support us in this endeavor,” said Paterson.

Nissan Canada’s partnership with Vanasse is part of its recent rebranding initiative. Last year, the automaker unveiled a new branding strategy, along with plans for a major overhaul of its lineup. The refreshed lineup will feature plenty of refreshed styles, additional tech, and even new electrified options like the Nissan Ariya.
